A Familiar Hairstyle Suddenly Looks Different
Trump arrived at Morristown Municipal Airport on Friday before traveling to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster for the Labor Day weekend.
Photos from the arrival showed the president descending the steps of Air Force One, waving toward reporters and, in another moment, flashing a thumbs-up.
Yet his gestures were hardly the only thing drawing attention. Trump’s famous golden-blond hair appeared dramatically darker, with an almost brunette shade replacing the lighter color people have grown accustomed to seeing.
The change stood out because Trump’s hair has been such a recognizable part of his public image for decades. His swooping hairstyle remained familiar, but the much deeper color gave it a strikingly different appearance.
The timing also made the transformation particularly notable. Only days earlier, Trump had publicly addressed a different long-running question about his hair: whether it is actually his.
