A 16-year-old girl is facing serious charges following a crash that left one person dead in Fond du Lac County.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY/Gray News) – A 16-year-old girl is facing serious charges following a crash that left one person dead in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.Madylin Blonigen is charged with three felony counts of knowingly operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, causing death and great bodily harm.

The crash happened last June 13 in the area of the Town of Calumet and Malone. According to the criminal complaint, deputies reported a black Toyota SUV/RAV4 struck a culvert, launched into the air, struck a pole, and rolled over. The vehicle came to rest on its side and on top of a passenger, who died at the scene.
