A koala accidentally dropped straight onto a wedding cake in Australia — and somehow turned a disaster into the bride’s favorite wedding memory. 

An American couple had traveled all the way to Australia because the bride had always dreamed of getting married there. She loved the landscapes, the culture, and especially the country’s wildlife. Every detail of the big day had been carefully planned.

Then came the reception.

As guests gathered around the wedding cake, many noticed what appeared to be a lifelike koala decoration above the dessert table.

Except it wasn’t a decoration.
