A repeat offender raped a young woman in Sector 2. The man threatened his victim with a knife in a parking lot

Later, in order to escape, the young woman suggested that he go to her house together, at which point she managed to escape from his hands. Arriving at the stairs of the apartment building, the girl took advantage of a second of the man’s inattention and entered the building, then blocked the access door.

He barricaded himself in the house and called 112 for help. A few hours later, based on clues provided by the victim, the police caught the repeat offender.

The investigation data says that the defendant DVI was wearing surgical gloves and had a knife with a total length of 38 centimeters, of which the blade measured 23 centimeters during the assault on the young woman.

Subsequently, the man was detained for 24 hours, on July 4, and a day later the 2nd District Court accepted the prosecutors’ proposal and ordered his preventive arrest for a period of 30 days.
