Pamela Bach was born Pamela Ann Weissenbach on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised in a family with a modelling background, she became involved in the performing arts at a young age and later studied Engineering and Theatre Arts at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Her early experiences set the stage for a move to Los Angeles in the mid-1980s, where her acting career began to take shape.
Bach’s earliest television work included guest appearances on shows such as Knight Rider, where she would meet a fellow actor who changed her life both professionally and personally — David Hasselhoff. Their on-screen chemistry turned into a romance, and the couple married in December 1989.
