A serious road accident occurred on Wednesday morning, around 10:15, on the exit road from Codlea to Vlădeni, where a car left the road and overturned into a ditch.
The vehicle suffered major damage, being overturned and with its front end severely damaged. The impact was violent enough that the structure of the car was severely damaged, endangering the safety of the occupants.
Car almost completely destroyed after impact
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the car involved was seriously damaged. The front end was practically destroyed and the roof was deformed following the rollover.
Images taken immediately after the accident highlighted:
- engine crushed after collision
- ceiling with damaged structural strength
- flammable liquid leaks
- increased risk of fire
For these reasons, the rapid intervention of emergency crews was essential to prevent even more serious consequences.
Firefighters, police and ambulance crews mobilized on site
After calling 112, several emergency crews were sent to the area:
- FIRE
- medical teams
- traffic police
Rescuers provided first aid to the victims and secured the perimeter to prevent a fire, given the fuel leaks from the damaged vehicle.
The causes of the accident are being investigated by police.
The Traffic Police opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
Among the hypotheses analyzed by investigators are:
- speed not adapted to road conditions
- a possible risky maneuver
- the intense traffic specific to this sector
All these elements will be evaluated by analyzing the traces at the scene and by interviewing witnesses.
