In the Nizhny Novgorod region, two people were killed and two others were injured, says the region’s governor, Gleb Nikitin.
“The Air Force is about to repel, tonight (Tuesday to Wednesday), a drone attack in the Nizhny Novgorod region, “
he announced in a statement posted on Telegram.
Specifically, local authorities say that a man from Belgorod was killed “following a drone explosion” and “a woman, injured by a shell fragment that pierced her back, was transported by ambulance to the hospital.”
Russian data also shows that on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, ” air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 323 Ukrainian drones” that flew over and attacked over approximately 20 Russian regions.
Elsewhere in Ukraine, authorities have announced the death of a woman. According to authorities, the victim was killed in a Russian attack in the city of Kharkiv on Wednesday.
