Iran launches new attacks in Bahrain and Kuwait
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Thursday morning that the Iranian military had attacked US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to the latest wave of American attacks.
The Iranian Navy and Air Force launched a joint drone and missile attack on US infrastructure and installations, including Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, as well as
Shaikh Isa and Juffair Air Bases in Bahrain.
Juffair, in Bahrain, is home to the main US Navy base in the Persian Gulf, which is home to the US Fifth Fleet.
The IRGC said the attacks were a response to US bombings on Iran’s southern coastal provinces and two bridges in eastern Iran, IRIB reported.
The US hit a railway bridge in Aqqala, an area northeast of Tehran, according to the Tasnim news agency.
