What happened between Selena and Yolanda Saldívar?

Yolanda Saldívar became part of the singer’s inner circle after becoming president of her official fan club. Over time, she also helped manage some of Selena’s businesses.

However,  the relationship began to deteriorate when questions arose about the financial management  of the artist’s fan club and boutiques.

The situation led to a meeting between the two on March 31, 1995, at a motel in Corpus Christi, Texas, where  the incident occurred that ended the singer’s life  when she was only 23 years old. Saldívar was subsequently tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for that crime.
