NC Couple Shot Dead in Their Sleep Over $75K Inheritance

Lewis and Carla Murray used to work together at a smoke shop in Morganton. Lewis allegedly learned Carla had come into $75,000. Propst later told investigators the couple was killed for the money.

A co-worker who knew both victims said Carla had been talking about the inheritance for at least a year.
