The Russian Defense Ministry said that logistics centers and supply points in Kiev and the capital region, which were used to store and transport weapons and military equipment, as well as for the production and distribution of drones, were attacked. The Russians also reported that they attacked three cargo ships near the port of Odessa, which they say were carrying weapons and military equipment.
Following the attack, residents were also warned of high levels of air pollution in all sectors of Kiev.
The State Emergency Service and the mayor of Kiev reported that as a result of the attack, 15 people were killed and another 51 people were injured.
Ukrainian authorities are mobilized in the affected regions to extinguish fires, remove rubble, and search for victims.
